      Re: IBM 6734-ABO Not working.

      Hi, I followed these steps:

      Short C231, then test.

If the lamps flash, then go off, short C232, then test.

If the lamps still flash, then go off, short C241, then test.

If the lams still flash, then go off, short C242, then test.

      BUT: the lamps still flash.

May you help me to fix it?
      Many thanks

What about the other tests before that
What is your monitor doing or not doing

        Pictures?
We can help a lot more if you please post good clear pictures of the whole chassis, and then pictures of each board, front and back (in the same orientation) and close up of connectors, (max resolution 2000x2000 and 2MB) using the manage attachments button, which is found by clicking "go advanced" under quick reply.

Please do not post inline and offsite as they slow down the loading of pages.

It will be useful if you can say what the supposed fault was and a bit about yourself - skills tools etc.
Please upload pictures using attachment function when ask for help on the repair

          Re: IBM 6734-ABO Not working.

          Thanks Selldoor,
I have an IBM 6734-ABO which is not working.

          Problem description:
I power up the monitor and green led and the lamps fashes every 2 sec.

Regarding photo, my photos are exactly the same as those posted in the first post on page 1.

I followed every steps, but unfortunately at post #25 I can't come out with a solution.
But at #25 there is the following writing by PlainBill: "If the lamps still flash, then go off, report and I will come up with a new test."
For this reason I would ask your help.
          Many thanks.
