    Protectli PC/router model FW4B

Hi, need a bios for Protectli PC/router model FW4B-0-8-120.

It uses a 8 Mbytes coreboot bios.

The one attached seems to be corrupted after a bios upgrade.

      Thanks peste it doesn't work.

Seems that problem is located in bios section, according to UEFITool:

coreboot is not UEFI, it can run a UEFI payload though.

Hi stj, do you mean that UEFITool can't manage this bios?

Is There a tool to open this bios and correct the damaged data?

I have downloaded a coreboot binary file from pcengines.github website but is only 2 Mbytes. (it has some code that is the same as original bios but shorter in size)

          Thanks

contact the coreboot people about editing tools.
            https://www.coreboot.org/

the thing about uefi payloads is they contain a filesystem that can have programs added to it.
so they can change in size.

that's also what makes them a security risk, you can insert malware into a uefi bios very easily compared to a traditional "blob of code" type bios

            you should also look here:

Finally I have found a bios for it.

I have googled for FW4B, and luckily found a zip file with the 8 Mbytes rom. (protectli-firmware-updater-main.zip)

There are a few rom files for other models and the *.exe file for upgrade the bios from an usb drive.

Just for someone who need this bios, I have attached it.
