Hi. Not sure why your post is in this part of the forum. It should be under laptops.

    1) with a power adapter, the LVDS_VDD_EN signal remains active? What is the voltage reading with the adapter?

    2) is the battery a known good battery?

    3) with the battery (only) does the LVDS_VDD_EN ever have a valid value?

    4) what if you have battery AND then add the adapter? Does LVDS_VDD_EN return to a valid value?

firstable , I apologize for the posting this section

With the battery LVDS_VDD_EN it becomes (0) even if the adapter is plugged in

The battery is working ,I tested on another laptop

Without the battery, the laptop works fine

Re: dell inspiron 5050 screen turned off

        1) post the voltage reading for LVDS_VDD_EN with the power adapter connected.

        2) post the voltage reading for LCDVCC_EN (pin 3 of the dual diode D4901) with the power adapter connected.
