    Gigabyte GA-7VRXP

    Motherboard recently went poof, I suspected the power supply (maybe it still is), but also noticed some caps were bulged at the top, three in a row actually here is the image. Poor image quality due to webcam :/

    *caps are already removed..

    The two caps in question were
    2x GSC 1200uf 6.3v 105c
    1x GSC 1000uf 6.3v 105c

    I'm not sure if any of the other capacitors are damaged, i'll buy a full set of replacements and see how the replaced ones go.

    good plan.
    when 1 cap is bad all others like it are shot too.

      Agreed. Replace them all, atleast all the low ESR's. I typically replace everything 680uF and up whether they look bad or not.
