If I check its display with a 15.6 LCD, the backlit is OK but nothing appears on the screen.

CCFL screens are difficult to repair. If you connect another CCFL screen with a different model of Inverter, then the mainboard gets damaged. This scenario happened to me once. that is why I do not like CCFL screens.
In general, If the inverter of the old screen gets warm, it is probably defective and should be replaced by the exact same model of inverter.

@caspian, he is getting backlit as per his post-so inverter is working and it couldnt block data from appearing. So it has nothing to do with inverter. Screen can be a issue if not compatible.

Measure voltage on pin 1-2,4-5,7-8 of lvds connector.Make sure you count the pins correctly.

check connector pins in laptop motherboard you need to have 19v and 3.3v
