This board has me thinking I should recap it. I'm getting an on-die temp reading of 69C, external is 58C (CPU temps according to BIOS). Fan is 3700rpm AMD, heatsink is aluminum but with copper core.
Hardinfo is showing me 48C.
This board is using Silver coloured SACON caps.
I installed a 128MB video card which resulted in a lockup while running HARDINFO .
Switched to a 32MB Nvidia card and HARDINFO runs, but I still suspect too hot.
Is there a relationship between Northbridge temps and cap quality?
The SACONs I removed from my other SOYO board measured OK as far as ESR and capacitance.
