    LN3242H Display Issue

Hello! I've done a search for related issue and did not find anything comparable so here I go (hope this is okay). My subject Samsung has display issues (images uploaded). I've replaced what appeared to be swollen caps (2-1000uf) to no avail - the problem remains. This unit does not appear to have the T-CON board (if that's possible). The power board model is BN44-00156A. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Could that model number be a LN-T3242H? If it is shopjimmy shows a T-con board, Maybe post a picture of the back of the tv with the rear cover removed

It is probably hidden behind the stand shield bracket you should see a lvd ribbon cable going from main and disappear behind something.

You're correct - it is the LN-T3242H. So from the pics would you diagnose the T-CON board? I'm working on getting a pic of the unit w\ rear cover removed. Helping a bud w\o internet service so it will be a few. The only two boards that were visible when I looked at the TV were the power supply unit and what I figured was the audio portion. Is there another panel that covers the T-CON board?

You have GAMMA Voltages problem in your T-CON board.

There are more than one LCD panel supplier for this model, so look under the metal shield to see what T-CON you have in your TV.

I would try going into service mode first and seeing if this does not fix your problem. But make sure you know what you are doing or you could brick the TV.
Here is a link to a you tube video that explains how you might fix this problem I have had success with this on a different model number. Best of luck.
