![]() [QUOTE=budm;305956]I cannot find the original post so this is the new post that I will have it liked to my signature file. It will be good if it can be on the sticky.
Notes: When make voltage measurement in the DEADLY Primary (HOT) side, the negative leg of the LARGE filter cap will be the ground ref. The chassis will be the ground ref for the Secondary (COLD) side. You should at least plug the unit you are working on into the GFCI outlet for safety.[/QUOT.Eacer AL1914 b.green light on and show display blinking.power supply is working 5v,18v,is ok but HT road continously blinking, plz give me solution |

![]() I Have a Vizio VX552XVT and most of the bottom half of the screen is darker than the top half. It fades to a darker shade but still displays a picture. The backlight inverter board has a red light on it that flashes on and off continuously. The screen will flicker sometimes as well and the red light will go on and off with the screen flicker and make a cracking sound when it does it. Could this be a bad inverter board?

![]() LG 37lc7d tv not responding to the remote unless you plug a headphone jack into the remote in port & remove it. Also, the setup screen flashes on & off when the tv does work.
Any suggestions?? Thanks |

![]() Greetings,
My question is I have an LG 37" lcd tv that will not respond to the remote control unless I first stick a small headphone plug (pin?) into the back panel of the TV's "remote in" hole-(jack). This seems to reset the tv & then it works fine until I shut it off & leave it off overnight. The second problem-(possibly related) is that when the tv is working the "setup" screen will flash on & off.--(This gets annoying). I'am wondering if anyone can help me diagnose what the problem(s) are? Thanks, John |
