SMI Gaming X GTX 1070 PEX Short?

    Hi,
I am troubleshooting this graphic card I got second hand already faulty and not opened. The fans start but it is not detected. I found that the rail PEX_VDD has 0.4 Ohms, I think it is supposed to be around 30 or 100 Ohms?
I did remove the coil and the short is on the GPU side, not the mosfet side. Since I did not find the boardview for this card I did manage to locate a couple of caps connected to the rail and removed them, but no luck.
I did try injecting 0.75V and it was delivering 3A. With an IR camera I did not find anything getting hot. It could be that the GPU was getting slightly warm, but because of the reflective surface I am not 100% sure. By touching it looks like a bit warmer than ambient temperature, but little.
VCore, Vram, PEX not present. The rest of the voltages are.
Do you think there is any hope?
    Thanks!!

Usually not repairable, only gpu replacement can fix it. RIP gpu
