Hello, Just received Sony Audio System Shake 7 , the customer said it went dead since after thunderstorm . I need help.

Start with the power supply. Does the stand-by section output the proper voltage? If yes, can you turn-on the main PSU without the amp being connected? If not, does the APFC try to run when you turn on the main PSU?

More clear and up-close shots of the power supply board would be helpful.

Whats the model number? is it HCD-shake7

check the main filter capacitor for roughly 170 VDC as a start.
