What are they doing with them? Just reflashing to clear passwords? Restoring corrupt images? Reverse engineering?

Re: Why do people ask for BIOS files?
Most people need to reflash since, well, it's never been a good idea to update from within Windows, yet most OE tools do! I have asked for a T520 BIOS for reverse engineering since my modified BIOS wouldn't produce a good Coreboot ROM. But thats a fringe case.Things I've fixed: anything from semis to crappy Chinese $2 radios, and now an IoT Dildo....

You must have a sad, sad boring life if you hate on people harmlessly enjoying life with an animal costume.
Sometimes you need to break shit to fix it.... Thats why my lawnmower doesn't have a deadman switch or engine brake anymore
