Re: Soyo KT333 Dragon Ultra Platinum

Bios did not recognise USB keyboard despite being successfully detected with everyday use in the past few months.
Disable, save and exit and reenable, cured the problem.

        Oh, I see it now.
Failed to detect the USB keyboard once huh.
Yup that's some problem all right, all Soyo's fault obviously.

Can't see how you had an nforce2 on a Soyo though....
        nForce2 came out July 2002.
Soyo's "All mobos' list included discontinued boards at least back to Socket 7.

Here's 'All mobos' list for Dec 2002.

        - No nVidia chipsets at all.

        - One nVidia chipset. An nForce3.
        - That does not support Barton.

Checking Nov 2006 shows no new/other Soyo + nVidia boards.

Interesting that you had an nForce2 on a Soyo when Soyo never used that chipset.
Also interesting that you used a Barton on a Soyo nForce board when they never made an nForce board that supports Barton.

        Geriatric moment?

            *facepalm*
            Soltek, not Soyo

Nah. Other ports failed the same.

Your name is Pyro after all. I figure you can handle heat..

A Soltek with an AFU BIOS I can believe.
