I replaced T302. No pop! Yay!! But no video either. I then took a chance and replaced IC801. We have video!!

I think IC801 was to blame all along. The transformer was fine. Good job. Is it "durable" this time ? Does it still turn off after X minutes ?

IC706 is not likely damaged, but IC801 might be damaged by the shorted Q800

Glad to hear that you got it going, so you had failure in the inverter circuit, then failure in the PFC circuit. hope they will both hold up.

So far, so good. Survived a 12 hour burn in over night.
