    Memory backup should be maintained by the battery, R777 and D783 are used during charging the battery, when the unit is unpluged, the battery current flows through D779 and Dd724 to maintain around 2.5 to 3 volts on C886 (VDD)
    I believe all parameters are stored in the micro IC72

      Thanks again. After some time it did start to remember things. So I guess it needed some time to restore itself. Probably because of the new battery.

        I have a AVR-135 that I don't use much so it is unpluged. I have to set the inputs every time I use it because the battery only holds the settings for about a month.
