Help with Fujitsu Esprimo C700 (MB: D3064-A11)

    Hi guys!

My Esprimo won't turno in anymore. I was trying via USB different usb hdd. I putted one in the front USB and after a couple of seconds the Esprimo shutted down and won't turn on anymore.

I've checked the PSU jumpering the Green and Black and the fan starts spinning, but when i connect It ti the MB PWR connection, It doesn't start.

Can anyone please help me to fix It?

    Thanks a lot in advance!

First check for shorts at the USB ports.

      Thanks for the reply!

This board has 4 front USB ports, soldered on the main board.

I've checked into the ports, it has no issues.

I believe the problem came because of a wrong usb hdd ac/dc adapter, that has 12v and 5v inverted.

So maybe it could be something on the circuit of the usb ports, but...it's hard to investigate!

IF you got 12V at the 5V rail, your motherboard it's likely to be FUBAR as in modern motherboards 5V line goes to many chips, but just in case, try to boot your computer with just the cpu, ram and a different PSU.

I've checked the PSU with using a jumper between green and bare and the fan starts to spin. When I connect the PSU to the mb and push the ON button, nothing happens.

I've tried the board with only CPU, PSU and different rams, even with no ram on, but nothing happens.

Likely the EC controller is damaged among other components.

So do you believe it's better to change mb?

yes, unless you get the schematic, in that case you might have a chance.

It's hard to get it, because it's a Fujitsu mb and it seems hard to find any info about it on the net.
