Hello members of badcaps,

A few weeks ago, I got this motherboard for free and it is not booting.
MSI used Rubycon and Teapo caps and a few G-Luxon. The Teapo caps are bulged.
Will this motherboard working again after a recap? And can I use some bigger 1000uf 10v capacitors in stead of 1000uf 6.3v?

looks like some on your memory VRM, southbridge VRM and AGP VRM.

yeah 1000 10v would work, just make sure they're lower or equal ESR and equal or higher ripple. Also, don't forget try to get the diameters as close as possible, for where they are the length shoulden't matter too much.

oh yes, and don't just replace the buldged ones, replace ALL those little green ones. Sometimes the seals on those break and they evaporate the formula and dry up without bloating.
