    Bad Emachines T6216 Motherboard

Just writing in because I'm not sure what else I can do at this point.

When I press the power button, the only thing that comes on is the fan and the board will not POST.

Here are the things I've tried thus far:

    1. Replacing bad capacitors. There was a line of 4 visibly bulging ones close to the processor.

    2. Swapping out PSU. I tried two seperate power supplies which were the OEM one and one from a dell dimension 2400.

    3. Cleared CMOS. I attempted to clear it by using both the battery removal and jumper pin technique.

    4. Removed all components except for processor and RAM and tried to power on. Also, removed everything including RAM and tried to power on.

That's about all I've done thus far. Now, this was my first recapping, so I'm a little worried I messed something up. To note, I saw that removing the bad capacitors was simple, yet I had to really work to clear the holes using a needle as it would go in easy, yet get stuck when I pulled the iron away.
