    Sony soundbar SA-CT260H no power

    Hello everyone,

I have this sony soundbar which suddently stop working.
I check the powersupply, it's working.
On the mainboard there is 12V and 5V powersupplys, there are fine too.
The 3.3V standby is shorted, I found that the microcontroller nuvoton m0516lbn are in short, I remove it and then the board is not shorted anymore.
The 3.3V regulator G9091 is dead, no outpout anymore.

The question is, if I repalce those 2 component, will it works again?

Since the nuvoton had 32BK memory, I guess there is a software or something inside, so if I replace it, maybe it will not work?

    Thanks for reading

    Regards

(I have schematics if you want)

The only way to really know is to replace these two components if you can locate them and give it a try. There may be a flash memory on the Main Bd to reload the software.

Thank you for your answer, there is a 32Mbit flash on the board, so it's possible yes.
I order these two components from china, I'll be back to tell when the package will be delivred.
