    Ps4 controller discharges itself

I bought second hand, defective controller for myself. I expected easy fix, like swapping battery, because seller said it's not charging properly.

I opened it, and i saw oxides on two chips. It needed few cleans, controller was charging, but when i charge battery to full and leave it overnight, next day i have dead battery. So i installed a new battery, same thing.

I even reflowed both chips, to make sure. No corrosion, only oxides.

    What could cause such thing?

I attached photos with damage i have found.

"reflowed" u mean u remove it, clean under it, retin pads and solder it back?

because that is the way how to treat all components after corossion
