ITE chip markings...

I tried to find answer here on the forum but i couldnt...
The question is what do markings on ITE chip mean? And are they important...? For example ITE8995e chip below has set of numbers and cxa or dxa or... it looks like this
ITE
IT8995E
1646-DXA
SF057A
So what two last lines represent and is it important?

IT8995E - part number (IT8995), E (package)
1646-DXA; datecode (2016/46th week) - DXA: D - version, tracking code -XA.
SF057A - LOTID. There coulde be letter L added, for lead free package.

Just open datasheet for your chip and it will be written, what is what.

First thank you....but
There is no datasheet for this chip...so you are telling the markings are important? So 1646 mean manufactured 2016/46 week but what D-version, tracking code XA mean?? If i use C version it will not work?
And any significance in last SF057A letters and numbers?
