    60pb660v circuit

    Hi

My mate finally decided to change an ic on my 60pb660v ysus board. Unfortunately one of the pads in the process has been removed .

I was wondering can anyone tell me where on the attached photo the ic highlighted in the yellow boxes- leg numbered three connects to even the solder below the pad has been removed?

    thanks in advance.

That pad is not used. Look up the datasheet for that ic and it will probably say n.c.(no connection).

just run a thin piece of wire from the through hole to the lC's leg. Put some conformal coating over it and be done with it.

Sorry I don't know what you mean by the through hole- can't I just leave it floating in the air

tvtimmy you are right it is n.c - not connected

thanks to you both for the advice

look at the second picture. Isn't the leg in question (pin 3) having a trace to a small solder point? Look where it goes on the other side of the PCB.

theres a jumper on the other side which leg 4 is connected to but nothing else- I think its time forthis tv to to a shop or into the bin - will try one last thread tho thanks

The original ic was 200D6 which I replaced with an ic with part number 200D1.
                The full name is NCP1200D60.

So pin 3 is the current sense pin. You better hook that one up. Pin 7 has no connection. You can leave that one off.

Sorry my mistake- I meant pin 7 (n.c not connected) - thank you ( my numbering on the attached photo didn't the data sheet sorry)

Once again thanks for the help I really appreciate it

The ncp1200D60 chips that my mate got haven't got any arrows/dots on, he assumed that the solid white line (read in conjunction with the writing) indicated where pin 1 was

The mark ► I refered to is on the pc board. The soic-8 ic should have a small dot for pin 1 but will also have the pin1 edge slightly tapered (see pdf)
