AHA I shorted the resistor and the laptop turns on! is it safe to just remove it, or should I replace it?

Ok so I'm going to replace it, but I'm not sure of the value for the resistor. The datasheet says 2.2_6 what value is that exactly? Is 6 the number of zeros?

I think 2.2 Ohm with size metric 0603
