    Cedar_Intel -MB RSMRST# signal not generating............

    Hi all brothers,

    I have a problem with my motherboard DRAMRST# signal not generating

    I checked all requirements of ram and everything found okay

    I tried to jumper that too with 1.35V but it didn't worked

    please guide me

    Motherboard Model number is
    Cedar_Intel -MB
    13269-1
    PWB FX3MC REV : A00

    first of all you need to check your clock generator ic is working fine or not. check clock enable which comes from core ic

        Vcore is the voltage supply to the processor core. Depending on the type of motherboard there is usually one controller IC driving various phases (MOSFETs and sometimes MOSFET driver IC's) that generate Vcore. There could be up to 8 phases, often there are four or six phases but it depends on old the board is. Generally newer boards have more phases. If you want to measure Vcore look for some inductors around the CPU and measure there.

        If you want to find the Vcore controller IC it is usually a QFP or QFN type chip somewhere in that area, probably 48 pin. If you look for that type of IC near the CPU and look up the datasheet for the part number you should be able to find the Vcore IC quite easily

        The other easy way is if you can find the schematic or board view for your motherboard
