Hi,
Anybody have experience fixing the Samsung DLP TV (HLT6187) LED Driver board BP96-01803A?
I have replaced all the bad caps on the Sub-SMPS. The screen eventually turns off. All 3 LEDS (RGB) appear to be good i.e. all 3 colors are displayed on the screen, when the screen is on.
Eventually the 3 leds on the TV panel all flash, after the TV attempts to power up. From the service manual, that appears to indicate a bad Sub-SMPS or LED Driver.
When the screen goes blank, I did confirm I was getting +12V and +16V from Sub-SMPS to LED Driver.
Something is causing the LED Driver to turn off the RGB LEDs.
Any thought? Thanks for any suggestions.
