    Lg 37lf2510

Hi, I have an issue with teh TCON board, i have had the AS15 chip replaced, but it still shows the same symptoms, guessing its the fuse, how do I find out what the fuse should be to replace?
t370hw02 vc v402 37t04-c0m is the tcon board.

    thanks,

    mark.

If the fuse has failed there would be no picture.
The AS15 are sensitive to heat, perhaps when it was fitted there was too much heat.
There are test points on the TCON that can be measured to confirm its a gamma issue.

ahh ok, thanks for that, as I do have a picture, but it is washed out white, the picture is just about visible though, which is why i suspected the as15 chip, i sent it away to get it reaplced, but it came back the same issue.
they are having another go with it at the moment, so maybe it is just that and they overheated it maybe????
thankyou, ill see what happens when it comes back again, if it is still teh same i will post some pictures, to see if anuybody has any ideas?

      thanks,

I know I've had to redo a couple of AS15 and I have one fail due to the lack of the thermal pad.
It's possible that there is something on the thin board between the TCON and panel that has an issue and is causing the image problem. Check for shorted ceramic capacitors.

ok, board came back, flicked normal for a couple of seconds and then went straight back to a white screen with picture behind.
checked the fuse, and fuse was fine, board was getting a steady 11.94 volts
noted voltage on the test points i could find:-
          1-15.18
          2-14.93
          4-12.34
          6-10.71
          8-9.93
          10-8.00
          11-7.76
          12-6.78
          13-7.04
          15-4.85
          17-4.34
          19-2.767
          21-0.535
22-300mv (basiclaly dont think this read a voltage, but not 100% sure as so low)

anybody an ideas what could be the issue, or does anyone know a good place to get a replacement board, as ill quite happily get a replacement board if needs be.
ill post a couple of pictures of board in a sec.

          thanks,

          mark.

Was the thermal pad and shield fitted ?
Who is it that has done the repair ?

I replace the AS15 chips myself but have also used TCON repair services on ebay - not sure if i can post the name but if you search TCON repair you should find it.
