Just a quick question before I start rewiring and clamping.
I'm replacing the caps in a Pioneer SA-7300 amp, and have come to the two power caps.
These are 5 pin large pots, and the replacements are two pin snap ins.
The 5 pin caps use 3 of the pins purely for support.
I've no problem with the connections, just with how to mount them, as the connections are obviously totally differently spaced, and the caps will need to be mounted on the board, as there's no space anywhere else in the amp.
I was wondering if there was some kind of adaptor/baseplate available, although google has yielded nothing, or if someone has found a way around a similar issue?
I've posted an image of the two caps in question.
