Re: LG42CS570 Screen Acts Like It Needs To Warm Up
Looks like you only have to get to the scandrive boards, this is an lg, isn't your exact model. then apply a little pressure to tabs to see which one it is. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s4wNc3hF4JI
Re: LG42CS570 Screen Acts Like It Needs To Warm Up
Thank you for your time you have put in to trying to help me. I tore it down all the way to the tabs cannot seem to find an exact fault in one particularly so I put a piece of black electric tape over the humps built into the frame over the TABS thinking maybe they were getting to cold because of possibly resting on the metal frame??? Idk i'm so confused at this point lol.
Most of the issues I have seen are lines and problems that are vertical. My screen is in half horizontally. It has a full picture from one end to the other across the top only about 1 inch wide to start, then as time passes it will go from 1 to 3 inches and just before it reaches the half way point it starts glitching the entire bottom of the screen as if something is warming up and starting to work properly as it starts the glitching I can start tapping on the top of the Tv and sometimes it effects it and sometimes not.

Update : No type of shimming seems to work. I watched a few videos on others doing the same thing but no luck and cannot seem to get any effect out of even messing with the boards or drivers.

Ran across this while searching google, don't know anything about them tho, was cheapest by far, could also be a dud, who knows. https://www.shoppinder.com/trends/cs-570
Re: LG42CS570 Screen Acts Like It Needs To Warm Up
I have tried heating up different boards with no success to affect it in anyway other than right about the 30 minute mark of it warming up I can tap on the top of the frame mainly the corners and it will jolt and seem like it effects the picture to some degree.
I checked the voltage from the power board pins going to the main board and all seemed to be within range of the schematic on the board. I preformed the check at first on and when operating properly to see if there was a change I noticed nothing which leads me to presume the power board has no fault.
I am not certain as how to check the main board or tcon properly. Any tips would be lovely lol.
Re: LG42CS570 Screen Acts Like It Needs To Warm Up
How would I find out how much voltage is supposed to be going through the lines from the main board to the t-con? And the voltage from t-con to tab driver boards?
