Vizio E701i-A3 shutting off

I have a Vizio E701i-A3 that kept shutting itself off after between3 minutes to 3 hours. I thought it was a EEPROM so I replaced the main board and got the same results. So, I replaced the PS and it now works perfectly, has not shut down in a month. I would like to repair the PS if someone can suggest where to start as these intermittent problems can drive one crazy. Thanks

Look for cold solder joints. Re solder all components that are connected to aluminum heat syncs, And re solder all Transformers. Most likely a thermal issue with stressed solder

also check the terminals where the ribbon cables plug in.
