I know that there was a time when the Nichicon HM and HN series caps were bad due to over filling... Are they still having this problem today? My new Gigabyte board has Rubycons on the VRM input and Nichicon HM's on the output. My last board did also, and those are still good.

Re: Are Nichicon HM's still bad?
i understand that there is a massive bad batch of nichicon HM and HN series during the period of 2001 to 2003. Is it still considered bad for these series that is found in products of 2006 and 2007?
i am a bit worred because my 7-month old MSI motherboard (K8N Diamond Plus) has 2 to 3 of nichicon HM(N) capacitors on it. The rest are Sanyo OS-CON SEPC polymers on the VRM output, Rubycon MBZ series on VRM input, Panasonic FMs on the almost everywhere on the motherboard, 3 U-Chemicon KZGs between the 2 PCI-Express X16 slots and also 2-3 small G-Luxons without vents.
