does someone happen to have bios dump for amd
hp 655
pn: 010172W00-600-G
NEWTON_BR_HPC
MV_MB_V1

it turns on, blink 3 times, pause, blink 4 times and turn off
3 times blink = ram, but i tried 3 modules, all same
4 times blink = vga, reflowed but no change (apu vga, cpu soldered)

That can be bad apu cpu,that ting has tendency to fail...

i found two more dumps but no go
in between testing laptop died completely
giving up on this one...

Then a must to replace because it will fail again.

Hello i have the same Hp 655 and no display. I try reflow gpu/apu but no help. I can hear that laptop start windows but no display show. Is this need to replace apu/gpu or something else?

try another display, back light may be bad or lcd cable

i just check HDMI and it work, but no display on LCD. I will try to check lcd and cable

i check the LCD cable but i only get 19V, no other voltages on cable. Is this GPU fail?

hi all are looking for a dump bios for hp 655 4 mb, on the site hp is 4.37MB and I do not know how to work it,

The machine sometimes turns on but does not show, sometimes it turns on for 3 seconds and goes off,

I wanted to flash the bios but I can not find it correct.

this is the corrupt dump done on the failed machine

check fbs11 and fbs7 for gpu power if power is ok then replace gpu or reflow
