        Good One!

        So, lets see....
Arneson, any ideas on how I can access specific drivers list to follow up on your previous suggestion? Device Manager isn't displaying them...

Any and all response much appreciated!

Acer shows this Win XP driver for your monitor. Should have come with it.

            Re: Acer AL1906 LCD Flatscreen w/ATI 128 All-In-Wonder

Yup, I have installed that driver; it is actually the most current update and was posted on their site the day after I ordered the monitor.

I have managed to find a list of the drivers in Device Manager by going Administrative route; am still unable to delete any of them while viewing them there in Device Manager.... any suggestions?

              Re: Acer AL1906 LCD Flatscreen w/ATI 128 All-In-Wonder

I may have stated delete when I should have said uninstal?

This sounds like a goof but, sometimes I stand back and consider all the things I know to be true, then after a bit of consentration I blank totally, and it comes to me, a light goes on and so does the monitor.
It is true that years ago I read page after page of all in wonder configuration problems and it was just the time that XP upgrade hit the stores.

                Re: Acer AL1906 LCD Flatscreen w/ATI 128 All-In-Wonder

Might seem a bit odd, but have you tried running the TFT (LCD-monitor) as a standard PlugAndPlay device?
My Philips 150s runs without a problem without a specific driver for it installed.

Safe mode only loads the basic drivers essential to the system, and there are no problems then, so my thought is that perhaps the monitor driver isn't suited.

That is an excellent insight! I will give it a go and let you know what happens.

Arneson, my apologies for not giving a quicker response; I've needed to take a break from this time-consuming problem and should have said so. All of your quick-responses have been _much_ appreciated!

I think BP gets credit for this one.
