    Panasonic Blu-ray Disc Player -SA-BTT490 - Dead

Hi, have this Blu-ray disc player that is completely dead due to being powered by 220-240V while the duel voltage switch was set for 110-127V.

The internal 250V 3AH fuse did not blow and the IC5799 has been destroyed.

When the player is connected to 220-240V, I have 110V across the mentioned fuse.

Having not repaired any disk players (only tvs) I'm stuck on what to check next?

    Thanks.

that piece of shit looks familiar - alot like the SA-PT860

    the chip is probably:MIP4110MSSCF

check any diodes near it, and dont forget to check for surface-mount parts on the underside.
