    Looking for Resistor! Please help!

I have a special resistor I am looking for for a Mackie Power Amp.

The High Pass resistor is blown and needs to be replaced I got the color code counted

    1 Yellow
    2 Yellow
    3 Gold
    4 Gold

4.4 Ohms 5% Tolerance 2 Watt Resistor but I can not find it on any website. not even mouser has this specific resistor anyone have an idea where I can get a pair of these?

The resistor is a through hole resistor! Thanks

    Including photo for reference!

the color band that looks silver gray is actually GOLD, it was burned away but you can tell when turned around.

This is a 2 Watt Resistor Anyone see this please lend a hand!

If there is a substitute resistor that will work over this please point me to it and I will purchase that instead! Thanks!

      Place two 2 2Ω 1w in series

So basically two 2ohms 1 watt 5% in the holes?

I guess that would work, guess soldering them two together then in the holes, still need it 2.2 Ohms each

Yes, two 2.2Ω in series = 4.4Ω Each only needs to be 1 watt. 2.2Ω is a standard value
Not knowing what circuit it is in, I'm sure 4.3Ω 2watt may work

stupid question but should the tolerance be 5% for the 2.2 as well or should it be less tolerance on the 2.2 ohms 1 watt?

What is the circuit it is in? if it is a power supply I doubt it is that critical The tolerance just needs to be 5% on each

It is for a Mackie Powered Amp, but this is for the High Pass Filter.

I see 4.3 Ohms 2 Watt 5% is online and available. Wondering how crucial this would affect the quality of the High Pass if it is .1 ohm off?

I decided to go with the series route just to make sure we are not off by .1 ohms. These are industry standard speakers for large shows and I do not want these to fail mid show or have some quality issues. So its better to just get the numbers perfectly.

It could be an artifact of the lighting and camera, but the two "yellow" bands do not look like the same color. I wonder if the over-heating changed the color of both bands.
