Thanks for the help.It did work with your 16MB file and my original 8Mb file.It seems that the service tag information is stored in the 8Mb file because with the file from you i get no service tag and manufacturing mode active

reprog the two chips with the file 1 on this post and test:

then reprog only the 8mb chip with this file, you will can store your service tag.

dell g3 19795-1 bios

have dell g3 laptop with bios problem having no display.have tried bios from this site display comes but cant save service tag and fan runs at full speed.
i have attached my corrupt bios please anyone make my bios working.
my service tag is 2BCM203.

There is no match for that Service Tag

thanks but display is still not there.laptop keeps on restarting .dispaly comes with post 79 bios but fan speed if full and service tag not able to save

Sorry I can't understand you. Is the device not working with this BIOS or it works but refused to store the Service Tag?

no display after update. I tried all the bios in the forum but couldn't get it to work.

Hello guys. My laptop service tag is C21503F, and it started showing Windows Blue Screen Of Death and when restarting always show : "bios on manufacturing mode" "no service tag has found" "no tpm". I'm not sure how to proceed. Every change in bios is not saved. using bios 1.24 from dell webpage

Also, what should I do with those .BIN files? how to apply to my BIOS? When I go to BIOS UPDATE, and select the FLASH option it only accept .exe
