+ Ram is PC4-2400T so I guess it is OK. But I only have another 16Gb-ram and it only supports 2x8Gb max
+ Reflashed BIOS before and it was good, but I did it again. nothing Changed.
Q8803 is the high side mosfet of the Battery charger circuit.

the board I have, don't show any lights when there is no battery. the mosfet in question read 0.3V in source and gate and nothing on the drain. When battery is plugged, it reads 14.5V in every pin. The battery light doesn't come on, weird. I think I remembered it still turning on even with a shorted CPU.

As I have read in the thread I did posted before, the problem is the second mosfet partialy faulty. Can I replace it with an IRF8707 as well?

            So the question is:
Can I replace either of these:

            AP9410AGM-HF

            SM4843NSKC-TR

            with an IRF8707

I'm not an expert on mosfets, but there are compatibility lists out there.

According to alltransistors.com they are not compatible. I try to order a mosfet that is compatible with both.

while I wait I have measured some places. Second CPU Phase mosfet sense Resistor is failed (R8052). All of the similars are good but that one is open. I will Replace it with the one in VCCGT (I wont need Integrated VGA anyway) and let see what happens.

Re: GL553VW pictures need to restore traces

In the meantime I found that Q8002 (VCCSA provider High gate mosfet) is shorted on Drain-Gate. I have Ordered a new one but now I do not expect much because if acbattery system 8v were gone to CPU then this is the end of the line.

Re: GL553VW pictures need to restore traces

Q8002 removed but the gate and drain are still shorted so i guess the controller IC is dead but the CPU 2. phase mosfet have again gone bang while testing so my guess is that that controller also needs to be changed.
This is the end of the line because prices and time are not worth the try.
I guess we cannot save them all.
