    50 V 4.7uf tantalum bead substitution

I feel I should know the answer to this, however I am finding difficulties in finding the about value, 50 volt 4.7uf or there about tant bead. With that in mind this is in a linear power supply module is there any problem with substituting a regular electrolytic of same value. or can some one point me in the direction of a UK supplier.

    thanking you in advance

Tantalum e-caps are low ESR, so using a regular low ESR e-cap will work. nad being a linear PSU it wouldn't be a problem. So I would say go ahead and use what you could readily get.

Many thanks, ordered some Panasonic low ESR as I just do not seem able to locate a UK supplier with stock of 50volt 4.7 uf (or there abouts) Tant bead capacitors.
