    Help m boarde Locate 3v/5v regulating IC in Toshiba S300

    I am unable to find the power regulating IC for 3V/5V . Pics attached so if anyone has worked on this board before, please help.


    I have also attached a schematic not sure if that is a correct one.

    On page 101 of the schematics, IC9255 is your controller for the 3.3V and 5V. The chip is a ROHM BD9526MUV, on the motherboard it will be a 32 pins chip marking D9526, hope this will help you.

      I can see that on the schematic but not found on the board .

            Are you sure you have the right schematics for your motherboard? I don't see any numbers or letters on your photos that could identify the model.

              I think this is the motherboard for Tecra M10 A10 Satellite Pro S300, A5A002376010A, you have a chip on the board with 28 pins, 14x14 see how it's called from the picture is not very visible.

                Here are the 3V and 5V inductors, so regulator may not be very far away. Dunno, maybe under a card reader?
