    VESTEL FIRMWARE: Toshiba 32W1333B

This thread has all the required Mboot folders for the Toshiba 32" Led Tv to be able to update the firmware successfully. This Tv uses a VES315WND101 Panel and the model is 32W1333B the firmware may be needed if you have the failure of the standby Led flashes on and off.

To install: Download the Zip folder and extract all the files on them to a Fat32 formatted Usb stick. After that insert the Usb into the LOWWER of the Usb ports on the Tv with the Tv ON and hold "ok" on the remote and the firmware upgrade will start.

WARNING: Do not insert Usb if the Tv not plugged in or with the Usb stick in the upper port. Doing so will crash the SPI flash Ic's completely and they will need to be replaced if so, if you have done this the Tv will not show a standby Led and will not reload the firmware.

Have fun with it, I also recommend you replace the output diodes on the Psu and turn down the brightness to minimum to help extend the lifetime of the Tv.

Key note when updating, the firmware might fail again a few days after on the 17MB95 boards it will fail in the same way with flashing Led. If so you will need to redo the firmware for a second time normally after doing it twice it will be fixed properly. If not you will need to replace the SPI flash Ic and load the folders onto it.

                  Re: VESTEL FIRMWARE: Toshiba 32W1333B

I see quite a few of these, generally failed at around the 15 month mark.
Usual issues are duff led strips, and firmware crashes, total crap really.
The intermittent blinking after flashing is caused by a smd multilayer ceramic cap,and not failing flash ic's,as previously thought.directly above the letter "C" on C137,simply remove it.
Also worth remembering there are at least two different screen types fitted on these, along with the lvds socket being in different places on the mb95.
Another affliction is failure of D318/19/20,rendering a dead set.If you are unlucky, this can blow up the entire drive circuit for tr200,And that's where the real fun begins..lots of blown smd resistors, etc etc...About 8 different schematics for the 17IPS19-5,the one you want not being covered,And drawn out by a five year old,Totally useless!

No experience with this kind of DIY. Can you point me as to where i would find the C137 Cap that you say needs removing
                    thanks
Gonna try update the firmware now and see if that works...fingers crossed

UPDATE ALL FOUND SOMTHING FOR YOU: This firmware works for ALL 17MB95 boards, the screen info is written to this but if you delete that you can use the Mboot to udpate the Tvs overall core firmware.
