Check the amplifier IC datasheet first before feeding it that voltage!
14.4V AC = 20V DC
21V AC = 29V DC
It might not be able to take it. OR, it may run too hot with the current speaker load (higher input voltage means the amp can output more power to the speakers before clipping, but will also dissipate more heat.) If the heatsink for the IC is marginal, I wouldn't push that extra voltage and simply run just with the 10.5V AC tap.

There was no sound from the speakers. But no harm done. Once I went back to using the center tap, it works again. Been blasting music from my phone for two hours. The transformer stays cool. Waiting for glue to dry before I reassemble the woofer to the cabinet.
