    Gainward GTX1600Ti Ghost 6GB - no reading RPM - fan 100% in Windows

    Hello.
    Have this Gainward GTX1600Ti Ghost 6GB that works normally but - no reading RPM. fan goes 100% when in windows. when not in windows fan works normally.

    I find bad diode on fans RPM lines.

    any hint?

      Have you tried it on another PC? It sounds software releated since it does that only in Windows. Maybe controller on GPU reads RPM fine but can't report it to Windows. You could try controlling it through software(FanControl). I'm unsure but there shouldn't be a feedback for RPM.

        Also if you cannot replace the diode you mentioned;
        Not a perfect solution, but as a last option you can use one of the fan controllers on your motherboard with an extender cable. You can then control it via software (Again, FanControl). It's also a quick way to test if the fan is working properly.

          fan tach 1 is ok but fan tach 2 have 4.5ohm to ground. as both is just pumped by 3.3V i think that GPU is bad. i try to inject but only thing that heats up is GPU core
