Why have you opened another thread with same issue? See we'all are busy in their respective jobs/profession. This is not a paid service that you can speed up things. So have patience.

DC jack light glowing is not a proof of bios being ok. However, that do proves that your +3V LDO is most likely working. So flash bios and dont forget to backup yours .

AD_ID will vary from board to board. However, 0.47V is ok on this platform.

If the mb is consuming 200mA, something must be hot or atleast some part of mb should be hot. Can you narrow down on this??

Your PU10 measurements seems good.

Open PJP4 and then connect power again. Do you get 5V on PL24(after opening PJP4)?

On the board there is label PJP4... and other PJP junction but there are NO
PADS in order to di-solder that is why this mobo is more difficult.
on the board there is nothing getting warm or HOT. i tried for 15 minutes.
by di-soldering PL24 on left side of pc234 i have 5v and on right side that goes to PL24 i get 0v BUT capacitor is not short!

Inject 3.3V on pin13 of PU10 and check whether you get 5V on coil PL24(The coil should be soldered back before injecting).Same method to be applied for PU9. This way we can find out whether the ic pu10/pu9 are good or not.

Other way is to remove PR149/PR132 and then power the mb and check whether S5_ON is 3.3V on KB3940. In the second way, you can findout whether its kbc chip which is not releasing S5_ON 'coz of some problem in PU9/PU10 or its the other way.

Suggesting to inject voltage on S5_on as resistance is healthy there.

On kbc pin 101 S5 i get 2k resistance.
I have injected 3.3v on R142 and R132 because on ic is a little difficult
to connect wire.

By doing so no voltages on coils.

this means that PU9 and PU10 are Burned!
Note:
The same thing i have on another mobo (same), i changed PU9 and PU10 but problem did not solved

Clarification:
When you inject voltage I only used power supply without the adaptor plugged in correct!

May be I didn't explained it completely and I thought u will be able to pick it up.

Any ic will work only when it has all inputs,enable and no short on output. So pu9 or pu10 won't work when u only inject enable voltage. It needs vin,vcc etc. If u have 2 dc supply, u can inject voltage on S5_On from one and connect the other dc supply to dc jack. However, if u have only 1 dc supply,use it to inject voltage on s5_on and use hp original adapter simultaneously for dc jack.

Post#9 mentions S5_ON resistance at 0.386mohms
Whereas post#25 mentions it as 2K.

S5_ON is 2k using ohms and .5 using diode mode.

As far as power injection that is my stupidity. I Really shouldn't ask if I am supposed to use
Ps. No excuse.

I have injected 3.3v on PR142 (S5_ON) pin and i got 5v on PL24.
Then i allied 3.3v on PR132(S5_ON) pin and i got the 3.3v.

conclusion: kbc is diffective!

can i get from somewhere 3.3 and feed it to S5_ON. Lets say BIOS pin 8!

You can jumper a wire to S5_ON from 3V LDO. However, it may or may not work.

i have done it with jumper wires, i got 3.3 and 5v on coils, of course the
voltage on battery coil but nothing else.
which voltages must be present upon adapter plugin!
what are the next signals for kbc!

i have found a file and i will flash it soon
the ic is 25q80b1g
do i choose 25q80 from rt809f device! there are 5-6 different options.

the file i extracted has 2 files BIOS.bin 4096 bytes and ec.bin 1024.
when i saved my file from board was 1024 bytes.
do i use ec.bin file!

BIOS 3.3V
RSMRST# 0V
I WII FOLLOW PATH TO SEE IF THERE IS ANY SHORT.
THE RSMRST# IS PRODUCED BY I/O!

I FLASHED ONLY U15 WHICH IS NEAR I/O.
SHOULD I FLASH THE OTHER ONE ALSO WITH THE 4 mb BIN FILE!

The 4MB file is the bios.Did you make a backup ? .Open your backup with a hex editor and search for the word BID ,if your BID matches the one posted (BID0196D) then you can flash it.If your BID is different then you need a different bios. What is the full laptop model number 17-??????

Motherboard did not start. Missing 3.3 rail no.

i have flash the bios and ec bios but mobo does not turn on.
i have the 19v,5v and 3.3v rails.
am i suppose to have memory voltage also at s5 stage!.
the light on power button is off and charging light is solid white.

what do i check next!
