![]() It shouldn`t be a Cypress chip.Choose the chip manually by the part number on top.If it is a cypress chip then youve found the wrong one.
Look for the bios like the one in the attached picture,its on the right side, it could be a macronix chip marked MXIC . Last edited by SMDFlea; 06-02-2022 at 08:59 AM.. |

![]() i thnk the bios chip is broken. thats whty it cannot be read. can i just replace it with other same brand winbond then write the bios bin file. is someone share it.

![]() If you are using a chip clip, remove all batteries from the main board, including the CMOS battery.

![]() The chip is not SOIC16 ,it has 8 legs,so choose @SOIC8 .The programmer probably read it ok but check it yourself next time and choose the chip manually by the part number on top of the chip and the type of package, SOIC8,SOIC16,WSON8 etc

![]() The sticker on the heatsink is the part number for the heatsink. The sticker or QR code will be on the motherboard !
