It shouldn`t be a Cypress chip.Choose the chip manually by the part number on top.If it is a cypress chip then youve found the wrong one.

Look for the bios like the one in the attached picture,its on the right side, it could be a macronix chip marked MXIC

i thnk the bios chip is broken. thats whty it cannot be read. can i just replace it with other same brand winbond then write the bios bin file. is someone share it.

Wrong,see post #7 .The W25Q80 is 8 megabits,not megabyes.It is 1MB megabyte, an 8MB bios will not fit onto it

u mean that chip is the bios chip of this laptop?

If you are using a chip clip, remove all batteries from the main board, including the CMOS battery.

The chip is not SOIC16 ,it has 8 legs,so choose @SOIC8 .The programmer probably read it ok but check it yourself next time and choose the chip manually by the part number on top of the chip and the type of package, SOIC8,SOIC16,WSON8 etc

i soldered out the chip using hot air.

If there is a long white barcode sticker under the SSD drive or on the ram slot,or a square white QR code on the motherboard post a picture of it

The sticker on the heatsink is the part number for the heatsink. The sticker or QR code will be on the motherboard !
