I have taken some voltage readings from the connector pl816 of the power supply which goes to the av board, the voltages which are circled are with the mainboard disconnected,i have two missing voltages the 33v and the 24v all the others seem ok .

i have measured three voltage regulators on the mainboard they look like all are ajustable voltage regs here is what i measured

                  lda1117
                  pin1----6.58v
                  pin2----7.84v
                  pin3----11.92v

                  ld1117
                  pin1---2.1v
                  pin2---3.3v
                  pin3---5.1v

                  ld1117
                  pin1---0.5v
                  pin2---1.8v
                  pin3---3.3v

hope someone can tellme if these are ok.
                  thanks for your help.

First one looks a little off - can you retest.

thanks for your help tom,i have retested it and the readings are exactly the same.
also tom i have found a component which is an b240a which according to data sheet is a schotty barrier rectifier which is showing short circuit could this be anything to do with the problem

can you lift one side of the diode and retest as some times diodes in circuit show sc or pictures of the diode in question so we can see the circuit around it.

Re: celcus lcd40s913fhd flashing red light

Upon looking at the readings again, it looks OK because voltage between OUT (2) and ADJ (1) is approx 1.2V.

Flashing red light on a Vestel chassis means one of two things:
                          - A monitored rail voltage is missing
                          - Bad/corrupted firmware

                          Main b/d schematic

Can you see test point TP217 or capacitor C734?

Hi, just found this thread when troubleshooting my celcus dled40125fhd

Had red light flashing as normal, but power on produced no picture.

Found out the problem: I connected the TV to a wall bracket so unscrewed the Base mount. I don't like bags of screws lying around so screwed the Base mount screws back in to the housing. Without the thickness of the Base mount, the screws actually pressed against the t-con causing problems. One of the diodes named cd6 fell out when I touched it, and suddenly the TV worked again!

Bad design but at least it's working now!!

Re: celcus lcd40s913fhd flashing red light

Just wanted to say that the service manual posted above for the vestel board 17MB65-2 in a Celcus TV fixed a no audio from internal speakers, but sound from headphones issue.

                                    No audio fix instructions below.

                                    Turn TV on
                                    Press menu
                                    Type 4725
                                    Type 4725 again
                                    Service Menu appears
                                    Open Diagnostic
                                    Select factory reset
                                    Press OK
                                    Wait approximately 2mins
                                    Accept 'first run' options
Tune any channels or switch to your desired source
                                    Test sound works

I suspect this is only a temporary fix, there may be some hardware that is aging, but the fix can be applied as many times as it works
