Help finding identical or replacement MOSFET.

    Hey all

I gots me an MSI P7N SLI Platinum here with a bad N-channel FET.

    IPD09N03LA N-Channel
    TO-252 package
    Infineon encapsulation

    Datasheet: http://pdf1.alldatasheet.net/datashe...D09N03LAG.html

Pretty much anywhere I look it's obsolete and out of stock. Anyone know where I can find a suitable replacement for it? The other side there are two NIKOS P75N02LDG FETs.

    Datasheet: http://pdf1.alldatasheet.net/datashe.../P75N02LD.html

More of a project than something that I need. If anything I can strip it for other parts or put it back on ebay as not working.

    Thanks.

PS, I know this isn't about caps but figured someone on here knows FETs as well.

The 05 will work in place of an 09?

Re: Help finding identical or replacement MOSFET.

Don't buy high-powered MOSFETS from China. What they do is pay kids to extract these from old boards, and they have special machines for each package type that sands them and re-molds a thin new layer and then they print them...

They're probably much lower spec'd than the seller claims.

If you must buy it from there, look for an American seller. If the American seller has "American Seller" written in the product photo, it's just a Chinese re-shipper in the US shipping Chinese products.
"We have offered them (the Arabs) a sensible way for so many years. But no, they wanted to fight. Fine! We gave them technology, the latest, the kind even Vietnam didn't have. They had double superiority in tanks and aircraft, triple in artillery, and in air defense and anti-tank weapons they had absolute supremacy. And what? Once again they were beaten. Once again they scrammed [sic]. Once again they screamed for us to come save them. Sadat woke me up in the middle of the night twice over the phone, 'Save me!' He demanded to send Soviet troops, and immediately! No! We are not going to fight for them."

I dont have to get them from ebay. I think mouser and digikey have the fets he linked to, I just need to know if the 05 will replace the 09 without much issue.

Hmm, that is odd, I could have sworn I cut and paste the part number into ebay search correctly. I don't know if the 05 is a replacement for 09.

I found the problem. It was a cut and paste error.

Now you probably don't need 10. I found that most ebay sellers are accomodating if you send them an email and say you want only 1 or 2.
