    Samsung PN51530A3FXZA Dead Set

Have a Plasma TV that won't turn on. I did replace the two 25v 1000uf caps with no luck. Any advice would be great. I have some voltage readings and pictures.
    Power on 2.82 vdc
    Stand by 5.2
    Everything else is 0

I think this model id known for bad mainboards. There are videos on youtube. Type in PN51D530. It will show you how to test it.

I should also note that the flashing led or heart beat is not flashing at all.

do you get stdby voltage on the PSU to the main?

Capleaker thanks for the response. On connector CN801 (psu to the main board). POWER ON has 2.82 volts
          STAND BY has 5.2 volts
No voltages are on any of the large filter caps.

I watched a bunch of youtube videos and it seems like everyone else is having the relay clicking on and off. I never hear the relay click. No light flashing on the display side of the TV. I should note that I do not have the remote for it. Only using the buttons on the TV itself. Maybe I should see if they are working

on cn801 measure all voltages and report back.
So far, you know that the PSU is producing STBY voltage and the main board returns PSon to turn all voltage rails on the PSU on. Now you have to find out, if the one of the other voltage rails is shorted on the secondary of the PSU,
OR: if there is a problem in the primary side of the PSU. Also it could be that the relay is bad etc.
The power button on the TV should be working as the main board returned PSon when you measured it.

All the other voltages are 0 volts. Only stby and pwr on have voltages

I jumped the PWR ON to GND and now I have some voltages to report to you. These voltages were taken with the cn801 connector unhooked from the main board (just like the picture).

                cn801

1 pwr on 0 ( I have it jumped to gnd)
                2 stby 5.3
                3 gnd
                4 D15v 15.52
                5 gnd
                6 gnd

                11 D15v 15.52
                12 D5.3v 5.29

cn802 (psb to logic main) Also the led (heart beat ) was flashing steady every second.

I'm assuming it's the main board that has problems?

That is what I am thinking too, since it won’t turn the PSU on

OK, I just ordered one, it fairly inexpensive. While I am waiting for it. I'm going to see if there is a shorted surface mounted cap on the board. Anyone have a schematic?

Ok I just finished installing the main board and everything seems to be working at this time. Thanks for the help guys.
