panasonic would be FC,FK,FM,FR & FS
rubycon, anything beggining with Z and to a lesser extent, YXF & YXG series

i cant help with the others - i dont have the datasheets on the drive.

Next are equal in how I use these two brands
I will use these two brands when repairing Servo Drive Power Supply Board if the manufacturer has used them on the board if I can find the UF value and voltage and Size Low ESR value

Low ESR =/= Low Impedance

Sometimes you want the Low Impedance...

on a side not anyone have a screencap of the board referenced in this post (picture looks to have been updated since then)

i can understand that they are not truly equal, but they appear to be close, under what scenario does one come without the other?

When I look for capacitors I look at ESR value and Low Impedance value but I would not look for lowest ESR resistance value i look for something in the middle of the values that are listed

That is why I use these series that I listed before and I have not really had any problems with doing it this way ( switching power supply’s)

Lower impedance is pretty much Lower ESR
