    Samsung Syncmaster 2333

    Hi guys

I have a Samsung syncmaster 2333, that works fine, but has trouble displaying certain colours.
Light blue seems to trigger it. The screen freezes and then slowly starts to turn white (it seems to happen less when the screen has warmed up).
If I change the image on the screen, it works perfectly again.

I have opened it up and cannot see any bad caps on the PSU board.
    Backlights are working fine.

When I put a finger on the ribbon between the mainboard and T-con, it fixes the problem.
Its not a connection problem, because it doesn't have an effect if I use anything besides my finger.

    Any help would be appreciated.

There are 2 regulator ic's on the logic board, It is possible that the caps around them are going bad. Post a couple good quality pictures of the boards.
Does your board look like this? these caps could be bad

Yes, looks like the same board.
Should I just replace those caps?

I don't know if it will fix your problem but when those caps get weak the regulator ic's can do strange things and cause problems, so give it a try.
