Issue: Vizio VX42LHDTV10A turns on, no raster, backlight turns on.

Solution: Replace IC U33 on Main Board (Digikey AP1117E33GDICT-ND).

Same fix for Vizio GV52L FHDTV10A, main board 3652-0012-00395. TV turns on, Vizio label changes from orange to white and backlight turns on, but no picture and doesn't respond to remote or the side buttons. Only way to turn it off is to unplug it.

Measure U33 regulator output (large tab) to ground, should be 3.3V. If not replace with LD1117ASTR (Digikey 497-1229-1-ND). Original part is AMC1117. Be sure to get the adjustable version.
