    Not really...

KDE is strange and can't be compared to Windows. In some areas its interesting and around Windows 8, in others its Windows 2000 or worse, somewhere inbetween...

    Hell, no.
More like Windows 2000 at best, more like Windows 95 or NT4.0 with IE4...

    €dit:
    But try it yourself.
    Download that:
    https://www.pendrivelinux.com/yumi-m...t-usb-creator/

With that you can put multiple Linux Live things on one Pen Drive.
I recommend trying Mint with Cinnamon, KDE and XFCE.

OpenSuSe is also pretty interesting. I recommend installing Gnome and go from there (because of Login Screen). You can install more than one Desktop there...

on another note i will be trying pure os next month .. https://pureos.net/
Be careful with PureOS! It does not use GParted as it's partitioning tool. Whatever they use destroys whatever else is in the partition you choose to install it in. Also, Install failed because it did not accept input from my USB keyboard. Quit the Install, when I rebooted it had filled the partition with 500 bytes of crap. Just tried again now, just the "Try It' selection, once again, no keyboard. It's BETA, but still...

They have their own Browser, I used this successfully.
