    470uf tantalum caps replacement

    hi
    motherboard toshiba C50 PT10F

    i found 2 bad 470uf tantalum in cpu sircuit making short .

    but i only have 380uf tantalum can i replace them with electrolytic caps .

    Can you post clear pictures of the bad capacitors?

    Tantanlum and electrolytics have their own properties and can vary including but not limited to: ESR; peak current support. Best to replace with a tantalum or better rated part so you can extend the life of the logic board and repair.

      the caps out the motherboard give me 22ohm with beep , definitely corrupted .
